Community & Youth

Helping serve local, national and international communities for over 100 years in the Heart of Gloucestershire.

Community & Youth

For many years the Rotary Club of Gloucester have been carrying out great things for the local community and young people.

We support trips for Carers through the People Plus organisation, Young Carers, The Salvation Army, Life Education, Kids Out and also holidays for disadvantaged children/youths.

Other activities include History Talks into Schools in the City, working with Brendan’s Bridge and to continue to support the provision of warm clothes to centres with the City where the need is greatest.

We work closely with the other other Rotary Clubs in Gloucester to offer a fully co-ordinated approach.

Rotary Young Artist Competition:
We will be looking for budding young painters, illustrators and artists who can showcase their creative flair.  Participants will have the opportunity to interpret the competitions annual theme which for 2023-2024 will be rebuilding.

Rotary Young Artist is proudly supported by the Fine Art Trade Guild, the Art and Framing industry’s trade association, responsible for encouraging and promoting the best in art and framing.

The Guild is member-owned and member run, and it develops and maintains internationally recognised standards in picture framing to ensure the work of artists, photographers and designers are correctly displayed, protected and enjoyed.
