The Gloucester Santa Fun Run!
Next Run: Saturday 13th December 2025
Starting Point: Kings Square, Oxebode end
Arrival Time: any time after 9am – registration opens at 9:30am for a 10:30am start
A huge thank you to all the volunteers for the 2024 Santa Fun Run. We had over 650 people attend and raised over £5000.

“Just a line to say a big thank you for Saturdays brilliant Santa run. It’s the 3rd year I’ve been & it was the best yet. The atmosphere on kings square was fabulous, the lady who did the warm up exercise & the music was brilliant. We had such a laugh.
The race is so well organised, and it’s lovely that people are so generous with their time to do these community events.
We’ll definitely be back next year, it’s a must!

Every year, the Gloucester rotary raise money in need of different charities by holding an annual event in the Gloucester Santa fun run. Walk, Stroll, Run or Jog, this 5-kilometre course is worth every single step as we helped raise over £5000 last year for local charities, so let’s see if we can beat that this year!
The 2025 #GlosSantaFunRun is on Saturday 13th December 2025 outside the old Debenhams Store in Kings Square. Registration from 9.30am for a 10.00 start.
All the profits go to the charity, who will in turn help the people of Gloucester get back to some sort of normality. But one more day of not normal is all we ask for, as we request you DRESS UP AS SANTA OR AN ELF to make it more fun for all!
We look forward to you joining us by running in your full Santa Set up on Saturday 13th December 2025 in Gloucester. Likewise, if you are completing your 5k during that week, don’t forget to post your photos to show that you’ve done it on our social media. Please use the hashtag #GlosSantaFunRun
So make sure to put on your Santa Hat and Snood or a full Santa Outfit and run, walk or be pushed round a 1k or 5k route of your choice this Christmas in aid of local charities. This event is organised by the Rotary Club of Gloucester and sponsored and supported by Gloucester BID, Nettl and Cass-Stephens Insurances Ltd.
Make sure to purchase your ticket online before the day if you are competing virtually or in your own boundaries, with extra add-ons and costume ideas available on the day alongside tickets for those competing in the run on the day.
