Rotary in Gloucester Community Awards

Making a difference by helping local community organisations

Rotary in Gloucester Community Awards

Rotary in Gloucester Community Awards are organised by the four Rotary Clubs in the city – Rotary Club of Gloucester, Gloucester Quays, Rotary@Kingsholm and Gloucester Severn.

The aim of the Community Awards programme is to support organisations within the city area with a small grant up to a maximum of £500, which ‘will make a real difference’ (No application will be considered to be too small).

The Community Awards has been running since 2014 and in this time, over £60,000 has been awarded to over 140 local individuals, groups and organisations.  We have been greatly encouraged by the way these small injections of cash have made real and lasting differences to these community heroes and also to the lives of the many people they have gone on to help in our city.

To register your interest for an award in 2024, download the application form by clicking the relevant buttons below.  Please complete and email your application to grants@rotaryclubofgloucester.co.uk – we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.

The recipients of our 2023 Community Grant Awards totalling £9425 were presented with certificates by Major David Hussey RLC, Second in Command, Gurkha ARRC Support Battalion at a reception held at the Wall’s Club.   Photo’s kindly taken by Mike Smith.
